NUX Newcastle – 22 November 2018 – A history of voice interaction interfaces

The next NUX Newcastle event is on Thursday 22 November 2018. It is at Bamburgh House, Market Street East, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6BH.

Doors will open at 6pm for food, drinks and networking. The event will start at 6:30.

A history of voice interaction interfaces

Tom Moran will give a brief history on where voice interaction has come from and why it’s become such a big thing. He will also talk about some voice-first TH_NK projects and where they think this is all going in the next few years.

About Tom

Tom is a leading voice for UX in North East.

Tom works as a UX Lead at TH_NK where he runs user research tests, leads design workshops, and creates beautiful design experiences. He regularly writes and speaks about the state of digital, design and the future of UX, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. He organises and runs bootcamps and workshops at local schools and universities about digital design and divergent thinking. He also mentors 3 students who aspire to work in digital.

Tom hopes to make the world better. He uses his infectious enthusiasm to not just champion UX, but he champions the people who design and create user experiences.
