NUX Newcastle – 28 November 2019 – When UX met BA

NUX Newcastle meet-ups are kindly sponsored by Orange Bus.

This month’s NUX Newcastle is on Thursday 28 November 2019. It is at Bamburgh House, Market Street East, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6BH.

Doors will open at 6pm for food, drinks and networking. The event will start at 6:30.

When UX met BA – Can two close disciplines work together and still love each other in the morning?

UX and BA have known each other for years, but the two disciplines have rarely worked so closely together. As digital development evolves, techniques collide, personalities clash, and opinions change. Craig and Andrew will explore how as a UXer and BA they learned to love working together, leading to optimum user-centred outcomes at Orange Bus.

At this event they will share lessons learned in the largely undefined area of multidisciplinary UX and BA collaboration:

  • Getting the right balance: UX and BA tools and techniques
  • Using new approaches
  • Working to fit better with BA
  • Playing to each other’s strengths for ‘happily ever after’ with our company, our clients, and our users

The evening will involve a presentation and a hands-on session so everyone can get to know UX and BA a little better.
