About our Speakers – Paul Braddock
Paul is currently Senior Product Designer at Asda. Before, he was at Co-op for over seven years where he championed accessibility in his role as UX Designer. Part of his role at Asda is leading on accessibility. He is eager to empower others so everyone can access digital products and services.
About Paul’s Talk
We know the importance of accessibility and is often used as a buzz word in many organisations. In this talk, Paul will share his successes and learnings of overcoming accessibility being a tick box exercise from his time at Co-op and now Asda. He’ll give you the ingredients that he believes will help you move towards equity and fairness for all. We hope this talk will inspire you to apply any learnings straightaway.
About our speakers – Danny Payne
Danny is the Digital Design Lead at Skipton Building Society, where he has been championing Digital Accessibility for colleagues and customers over the last 5 years. He is passionate about Digital Inclusion and culturally embedding digital accessibility.

Talking about contrast ratios is never easy, right? Getting buy in from others to prioritise accessibility is often a challenge. In this session, Danny will take us through some of his reflections on the challenges he has faced in the past and how changing the conversation can help manage the perception of accessibility.
