Join us at this month’s venue of BJSS for an activity-led session run by Andreea Vlad and Andrew Arrowmith.

Applied inclusive design: A creative workshop for reframing the world

The session will explore inclusive design, and how prioritising accessibility not only meets specific needs but also improves the overall user experience. We’ll do this through drawing and discussion exercises (don’t worry, no prior experience or materials needed), while working with personas. You’ll leave with practical insights on how inclusive thinking can transform the design process, whether you’re new to UX or a seasoned practitioner.

About Andrew

A photo of Andrew standing in front of a blurred backdrop of a tree line, he has blue eyes which are shaded by his eyebrows, he is bald with hair growing in and light stubble with a patchwork of colours, he is wearing a grey blue hooded coat. And is doing his best to provide a wry smile, but may not be pulling it off.

Andrew is a user researcher with experience in the public sector, finance and data analytics spaces as well as a colourful list of other work experiences which he will readily talk about.

Andrew has worked to drive accessibility and inclusion in services he has worked on including national NHS services, spearheading initiatives to make sure that diverse voices were heard regularly by connecting to community groups and 3rd sector organisations.
