Thanks to this month’s sponsor of NUX Newcastle, BJSS.
Join us at this month’s venue of BJSS for an activity-led session run by Andreea Vlad and Andrew Arrowmith.
Applied inclusive design: A creative workshop for reframing the world
The session will explore inclusive design, and how prioritising accessibility not only meets specific needs but also improves the overall user experience. We’ll do this through drawing and discussion exercises (don’t worry, no prior experience or materials needed), while working with personas. You’ll leave with practical insights on how inclusive thinking can transform the design process, whether you’re new to UX or a seasoned practitioner.

Andreea is a designer with extensive experience in the public sector, specialising in service design, user experience, and interaction design.
She is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility and once opened a £10 simulation lab to raise awareness of the challenges often faced by under-represented communities. She is committed to inspiring others to rethink how we create more equitable, diverse, and accessible solutions, through mentoring, training and sharing her design expertise.
About Andrew
