Creating a culture of accessibility
Martin was the first accessibility specialist at Sage, a FTSE 100 company with countless digital products and a real desire to do the right thing by their users. In his three years at Sage, Martin has educated, coached, audited, and generally helped get accessibility on the agenda for as many products as possible.
In his presentation, Martin will take us through the things he has done at Sage to create a culture of accessibility, and give us some top tips for how we might do similar in the organisations we work in; large, small, or somewhere in between.
About Martin
Martin is a Lead Accessibility Specialist at Sage, with a background in interaction design and frontend development, and a history working in UK government’s digital services.
He has a thing for minimal, usable digital products which can be used by everyone.
