Service design in prison: How we delivered a groundbreaking product in a challenging environment
As part of a multidisciplinary team, Gemma and Nigel have delivered the first in-cell content platform within the public prison estate. In this talk they describe how they designed a product that has become an integral part of daily life for its users, and the challenges faced in delivering it.

Gemma is a service designer for HM Prisons and Probation Service. She has a background in user experience design having spent over a decade working with a range of organisations.
About Nigel
Nigel is a content designer for for HM Prisons and Probation Service. He also trains people interested in the practice of user-centred content design.
