“Thats not what I designed” … working towards a team lead design system
with Stuart Rayson
With all the tools we have at our disposal in the design process why are we still having issues when passing them over to development and ensuring accuracy of UI?
Stuart will demonstrate how design systems can ease the frustration of both designers and developers and provide much needed continuity in this area.
Design Systems can be confusing with different interpretation of roles and many different names (such as pattern libraries, tool kits, style guides etc) and where design ends and development starts… So with a bit of FE magic, let’s explore how a design system can become more than a tool for design & UX but for developers as well.
By making the design system the core of a project it can improve collaboration, accelerate the time to market, reduce wasted design effort to name but a few advantages.
This is Stuart’s personal experience of design systems and he is excited to share real examples how we deliver them to our clients.
