About our Speakers and Their Talks

From Coaching to UX: Designing Change That Sticks

What do great coaches and great user experience designers have in common? More than you might think. In this talk, we’ll explore:
💡 how the principles of coaching mirror the stages of effective UX design;
💡 how teams build trust and alignment, keep the end in mind, face into reality, and spot opportunities;
💡 why reflection and closure matter—because good endings are as important as strong beginnings.
Whether you’re leading a design team, working with stakeholders, or facilitating change, you’ll leave with practical insights on how coaching mindsets can strengthen the way you design, collaborate, and deliver meaningful outcomes.

An award-winning team leader, Kimberley is known for her passion for people, creative problem-solving, and sprinkling a bit of hippy wisdom into her work. Prompting vs. Prompt Engineering

This session aims to demystify Generative AI—first by explaining the core technology that makes it work, then by clarifying the crucial difference between casual prompting and the more deliberate, powerful techniques of prompt engineering.
