Adding the foundations after the house has been built: design systems at Auto Trader

with Dan Donald

Design systems are a big thing at the moment and for good reason. That’s great when you have a greenfield project but what about when you have multiple sites on multiple platforms and contend with legacy code? The realities we work with can give us many challenges but they’re not insurmountable.

Dan will talk about his experience of the elements – many non-technical – that make design systems a success.

About Dan

He’s spoken at events like Future of Web Design, DIBI, Hybrid Conf, Leeds Digital Conference, and Wuthering Bytes; written for .Net magazine; and co-organises UpFront Conf.
