NUX Newcastle, 16 November 2016, The Art of Play

NUX Newcastle meet-ups are kindly sponsored by Orange Bus.

With a new venue and temporary change of day we’re back with our last session of the year…  (TLDR; IT HAS LEGO!)

The Art of Play

Play isn’t just for children. In fact, toys have a long history in therapeutic settings to help people articulate difficult emotions. More practically, play can help engage people in user research and other UX activities that they might not otherwise connect with.

This is an interactive workshop where Sarah will be talking you through how you can engage participants and other team members with play, as well as letting you play in group workshop activities. With LEGO!
