Experience Bubbles, Interactions and the power struggle with device augmentation (Oct 1st, Manchester)

About the session:
The rise in popularility of internet connected devices in our daily lives has changed the way we experience digital environments, no longer are users just experiencing the internet through desktop devices and this is changing the way we think about personal space and develop our social structures and groups. After all, we all have multiple connected devices in a massively fragmented landscape – What are the issues and how can we and the web fit in?
Dan’s talk will explore these environments, how we currently think about these new digital spaces and what lies beyond ‘second screen’ apps?
Dan Donald:

After a years working at agencies and as a freelancer, Dan is now part of the BBC Sport web team.  Enjoys prototyping, experimenting and loud rock.  He’s contributed to .Net magazine and rants from time to time at events and over at breakthepage.com about different ways to think about the web and what we do as creators for it.
